Dear family and friends...
Last Saturday ( after working 6am-2:30 pm) I went to a wedding of 2 young adults I work with and have known for several years... I had made a quilt for them and went with Wendy and Bob. It was a fun day...
On my second day off ( my Sunday)..and didn't get a whole lot done yesterday(My Saturday)... Waited for Sharon to come by to walk..but she never arrived..so I skipped it...should call her today as she didn't arrive again...maybe she is sick..or just busy doing things for her 50th anniversary party...coming up June 2nd...
So yesterday...I visited the dentist for a cleaning...got that done...and my teeth look pretty good for retirement coming up next year. wanted to get as much done as I could before that happens..as it will be expensive to visit the dentist after no insurance for it happens.
I then came home and waited alittle for Wendy and Brittiany to show up--Brittiany has a wedding June 2nd and her dress needs altering... I am also altering Sharons dress for their celebration too... Maybe I should start an "Alteration" business when I retire...??? a little thought.
We got the dress fit... and then we cut out a pattern Wendy had boughten for Brittiany for a new scrub for her work. it is cute and she should have no problem putting it together. We had a wonderful visit...and Little "Teagan" was a little Angel. She is so sweet and easy...just slept most of the time, ate and got her diaper changed and went back to sleep. Then they left and I decided to finish repotting all my indoor plants with new potting soil...they were all needing attention badly...so got all but 3 done...will finish them today... then I cleaned alittle and my day was over... not too productive to say the least.
Tonight is TCF meeting @ 6pm... and have to get focused for that...need to make my convention reservations today...and make a few phone calls regarding that...
Saturday is Teresa Jo's 26th Birthday!! she and I celebrated when I was down there... and it just doesn't seem like it was enough. I miss her and would love for her to be nearby here...that will probably never happen so I gotta deal with reality...and know that she is happy where she is. The years are fleeting by so quickly and I just want to participate better with her life. Eric feels the same.
So that is my week... Happy days off... Must get to what is on my list...
