Dear Family and Friends..Well, I am finally in the mood to get this trip journaled...only 4 months later...summer was very busy...and just didn't get to it...and ran into some posting problems with my style of blogging...I just couldn't get something right on the post and it wouldn't post ...so started all over from scratch...and included a movie also...
I think I left off where we were leaving San Clemente and family and headed back to San Luis Obispo to drop off TJ...and then we drove all the way home the rest of the day and arrived home (me and Loretta) at about 1 pm in the morning...we were pooped. I had the next day off and Loretta and I bounced around town shopping at a few stores... and did some cooking for dinner that night. Mack was working all day....but he was really glad that we got back.
the next day Wednesday..I had to work..so Loretta had a day to catch up on her rest alone here and when I got off we all enjoyed dinner and a evening together...and then that night Loretta and I got up early in the morning and took off for Amtrak in Dunsmuir and got Loretta on the train again early in the morning and she stopped in Eugene to see her longtime friend Marianne Gamboni...for 1 night and then she proceeded on home on the train and Bob picked her up at the train stop in Olympia...it was a long long trip for her...and she was happy to have gone on the outing for a week while it has been a long road for her this year.
So we all got back to our lives and in our prospective homes and yet we shared a grand time of all being in one spot again after all these years...We plan to do it all again next time in Colorado in 2 years at Margie & Ken's! Wow! can't wait to see us all gather ---many old memories shared and hugs given to all!
Miss you all so much...lets all stay in touch much more! It truly was the best memory this year for our family.
