Good Morning World!...
Here is a really old photo probably from 1977...I think Bonnie Jo is about 1 1/2 here...and Carol's sister Sandra was there with her Dad Hubert, and her first son, I think.  Behind us was their Dune Buggy "Myrtle" that we use to drive to College alot and on vacations.  Sandra shared this photo, and I had never, ever even seen it at all!  wow.  So it was about 38 years ago...a long long time! THanks Sandra...those were the great Days of our youth!

Thanks to Debbie-- "Bird Lady" she has me picking up interesting shaped leaves this year.  she draws them and does art work...I plan to make greeting cards in my spare time.. haha!  They all are so unique, and beautiful!  These were from the court house this week in Yreka, Ca.  We spendt 2 full days there on Debbie's trial for her separation from Dave.  it was terribly long and complicated and emotional for all concerned.  not very fun...but we managed to incorporate some laughs during our breaks!

here we are on a quick walk.
this is a viedo /story I made of our 2 days together!

Wednesday night we went to the Christmas Spectacular at the Church of Nazarene on Evergreen st. It was a fantastic show..all local talent of people in Siskiyou County.  What a display of love and dedication they showed!  It was part of Mack's 60th B-day present!

this is a quilt I am working on for Mack's 60th Birthday...this sunday...it won't be done but I might get the top sewn together-- and hopefully quilted by Christmas!

Here are some small deer at our mail box.  They were there when I came home on Tuesday afternoon. The little babies are so sweet.

These are rose hips that I picked on Machado Lane.  Tried to make some Jam from them but it was harder than I expected because it has alot of seeds.  Gave it a good try though.  Wendy liked hearing about my experimentation of this new resource. haha!

Here is Lic Lic...she is in her chair inbetween getting in trouble for running wild in the neighborhood. She is an escape artist.  She is sweet and I love her very much!

Teaca..is a small sheep dog...the smallest of the bunch..belongs to Mikes son.

TJ with the other babies too!

Little Dutchess..she is a sweetie!

Here is Bruiser, Brutus?  I always get his name screwed up.  Anyway he is doing well now and recovered from his illnesses.  has a better diet now and it should help.

The Dober is Mikes dog..he is huge!

These are the pictures we drew this week of the 3 little kids I babysit at church on  each Tuesday.
Little Isaac fell off the chair and hurt his side on the chair while I was in charge.  I felt so bad..but I think he was gonna be ok.  He yelled and screamed loudly and his mom came to the rescue of bad babysitter...it's been along time but usually they don't get so rough and tough.  I hope I don't get fired!

Some bright red trees in Jacksonville last week ...Just amazingly beautiful!

This salad dressing doesn't look too hard to make.

Wednesday of this week Eric sent me this picture of the process they are undergoing. Our hopes and prayers are with them each and every minute!

7:00 am thursday going to Big Springs to pick up Debbie for 2 days of court trial.  It rained for the whole time.
This about winds up my last 2 weeks...it has been most interesting..each and every day. Tomorrow is Mack's 60th Birthday.  We will go to Casa Ramos for Dinner and that is all.  He had a big party last year and this year we are just gonna hang out.  He likes quiet really!....not me...
Happy 60th Birthday Sweet Hubby of mine!

Good Morning World!...
What a good week last week was...nothing unusual, but steady and pushing ahead with projects, and volunteer projects, and seeing almost everyone I would like to see.  Most importantly was seeing my daughter last Monday morning and having a great day with  her.  Took her to her Dental appt...which got postponed so we made a fun day out of it and went to my favorite quilt store of all!  We had fun..ate breakfast at Papa Ganders and enjoyed looking at all the quilts at Tader Patch.

TJ and I had a fantastic time together...We did get up early to get out there early to Dorris...so rescheduled the appt.. ....so thought we should make a day of it and hit merrill -tader patch--and papa ganders for breakfast as the patch wasn't open yet.  it was early.  We had fun..enjoyed looking at all the fantastic quilts downstairs ......(even in the downstairs bargain basement of Tader Patch)...and TJ was surprised how expensive they were...I told her they are all expensive...that is why we make them and quilt them ourselves ...at least we try.. haha..  She learned alittle more about what I do...and she said she is thankful that I made her the heart quilt with all her friends names on it..along time ago...  I told her I should be able to make a few more for her before I leave this world...and she said MOM...don't talk that way...but I guess I do because I do feel like there isn't enough time to do all the projects I really want to do.

On the way home..on Tulelake road...where the birds, (ducks, swans, eagles, etc...tons of them) are on either side of road..we saw a mountian of onions by the roadside.  Like a huge truck went off the road and dumped them but caught a glance of them as I raced by ~~~~~~~~~~~ and said to TJ...wait a minute...backed up 1/4 mile--no cars or trucks in sight---and grabbed what bags I had in the back seat and told TJ we were gonna get some free onions.  We got 5 big bags of white prefectly good onions...and laughed the whole time we were gathering them..  a few trucks flew by with more onions..honked their horns at us and I laughed and said maybe they were trying to tell us something...and TJ answered --Mom..they are probably honking because they are looking at our BUTTS.. haha... I just have been laughing about that all week...she is so funny and so right at the same time.  it was so crazy ...I was the one that got us into that one.  haha.
Made a big pot of onion soup to take up with me to see Kristen. Hope she likes it too!

So we got home by about 2:00 pm at her house...played with the dogs and then I headed home by 3:30...full long day....I was tired.

ALso this past week...mack bought a new yellow jeep to run back and forth to work in....to save on miles and gas.  He is a happy camper...It is real high up and hard to get in and out of real fast.

Went to the Celebration of life for Christd Starr...she passed away from problems unknown...to any of us...and left her 19 year old daughter.  They were very  close ...and look alot alike.   While we were there ...her whole family was there..from Seattle area... I told  her I was gonna go up Oct 23 , this thursday til monday the 27th...and she might go with me to Olympia...as she has a aunt there.  We will see what she wants to do...I am going regardless  to visit with Kristen, as it is her Birthday this month and would be a fun get away for me. Can't wait.

other than that...I have loads of laundry to do.   I am also into week 4 of doing  Compound weights M W F and walking on the other 2 days.  I feel like my muscles are doing alot better now and haven't really lost any weight..just feel alot better...yeah!

So it is raining out today ...good day to stay insde and get projects done...
thanks for your reading this and hope that you have a fantastic day!
   Hugs & Prayers,
