Good Morning World!
This was my letter to my dear dear friend/sister (Nancey Joy)~~needed to let her know what was happening here in the past few days...
{{ Nancey Joy... thanks so much..enjoyed this one alot...I meant to send you one for your b-day and it slipped by too fast as that was right when ERic and Family were here. it has been a really busy week since then...Spendt Sunday with TJ and went to Church and then it rained all day after and we spendt the time going thru old pictures and stuff I brought out for her to make decisions on...stuff I was passing on to her because of our transitions...was really the best day we have had in years...Made Macaroni salad, and hot dogs for dinner...together... then watched grammys...sewed a few items that had ripped--finished her chinelle jacket...(looks like a zebra)..haha...and she loves it ..I was dissappointed in the results...but it does looks great on her...I just couldn't visualized it....also...was trying to keep track of the Longhofers traveling across the USA...and that was alittle overwhelming to me...I was so worried...but they did fine with 1 doggie, 2 cats, 1 child (12 years old) and his wife.~~he accomplished the task in 1 week...they are moving into their new house today...Then after I got up Monday morning yesterday...we were suppose to go to Pam Lockwoods old house and meet them..they are dissolving all possessions as they live in a motorhome now...so we have been up there together many times...but I called Mack to say good morning and he was having confusion and signs of TIA symptoms on the phone... I immediately raced ( and I mean raced ) home....called our neighbor accross the street to see if he could get over to be with Mack before I got there--and we spendt the rest of the day in ER...Mack's blood pressure was sky high (210/115) til they gave him a Valium...when he had a MRI...and then the blood pressure when down slowly.....and he started remembering things, people and places and times again...IT was scarie to say the least..we are following up with Dr. visit tomorrow and another test for Carotid artery blockage~~ also....they have him on Ativan for him to take when he feels stressed...we are passed the worse time I think...but this did happen in 07 also...very similar circumstances but this time he was cooperative. Also this past week...my sister-in-law (Steve's wife~~Debbie Diumenti --53) died of a cardiac arrest...it was very sudden and she was on life support for a week..no brain activity..so they unplugged her Sunday night and harvested several of her organs (per her request) and her memorial is this coming Friday in Tustin... Not so sure we can go now..but we might try. don't want to stress Mack out at all..we will see what the dr. says tomorrow... If we go I will drive the entire time...which is fine with me...I do think we should try to go...she was one of my favorite people in his family.
So it has been a code red week for us...but we are still breathing...will talk to you before long...and thanks for sharing the 60 reasons with all of us...it was a joy to read it this morning and just what I needed to have a few laughs! I love everyone's sense of humor. it was well done and such a blessing.. Thanks for your love and encouragement! I have been on overwhelming mode and feel ok...but still need to watch out that I don't overdue also....I have been going on alot of walks as often as needed. Hugs to you! BJM }}}
