This is my monthly update to fill in details for everyone. It hasn't been boring at all this month.!! Had my lifelong friend Nancey Joy Lyden come visit us for a whole week. We had a great time..it was the last week of January. We did alot and kept so busy all week probably wore Nancey Joy out from all the activities.
So thankful that Nancey Joy was able to get up here to have a visit. It has just been long overdue...about 3 years overdue. We caught up on all our conversations we never could finish on the phone. Sure felt like I was 20 again. The shenanigans we use to get into when we were that age were kinda funny. We had no idea that I might go into labor at Universal Studios ( I was pregnant with Bonnie Jo and 2 weeks overdue) was feeling miserable..and we decided we needed to use the free tickets that one of our friends at Busch Gardens gave us for a fun day! Needless to say we got on all the rides fast ...without much waiting because everyone felt sorry for me...haha...I didn't know how bad I looked I guess,...but looking back on that day..I can imagine what I would have been thinking if I was looking at someone as crazy as we were! not a care in the world ...haha! to top it off we headed down to hollywood blvd..to check out the theaters and we snagged a couple of boxes of Famous Amos cookies from a Van advertising for them...that was pretty funny!
The sad part for Nancey's whole week was her father died the day after she arrived here. It was pretty hard on her to deal with his loss all week..but she was a real trooper and pushed through it and told me she would probably feel it alot later as she had dealt with so much through his illness. Many hugs to you and your family and I am thankful that we could brighten up your heart during this dark time. Hugs.

I think it was hard for Nancey Joy as she didn't know Bonnie's name was there! It makes me so proud to see she is remembered here! Hugs
Guess I could post all 800 pictures we took all week long...it was a great week and enjoyed each and every minute. Thank you Nancey for coming...it meant alot to me to laugh all week long! I am so very blessed by you and all my loving friends that I am fortunate enough to have been blessed with. God is so good to me despite all my zig zagging through my life...I am glad that he doesn't remember all the stupid things that I've done and encourages me to always do better! So many many blessings to be thankful for!
